Make a left at the second traffic light onto Colonial. Continue on Colonial as it becomes Sandford Blvd. Go a 1/4 of a mile past Best Buy and make a left onto Homestead Ave.

• Walker Field House is the gray wood building in front.
• Parking available in the lot.

From New York City

Take the Long Island Expressway (LIE, I-495) eastbound from the Queens Midtown Tunnel in Manhattan or the Throgs Neck Bridge or Whitestone Bridge in Queens to exit 62, and follow Nicolls Road (Route 97) north for 9 miles. The main entrance to the University is on the left.

• Take 95S toward GW Bridge.

• Take the GARDEN STATE PARKWAY exit- EXIT 11- toward US-9 / WOODBRIDGE.

• Take the exit on the LEFT toward US-9 / GARDEN STATE PARKWAY SOUTH / US-1 / WOODBRIDGE / RT-440 / THE AMBOYS.

• Merge onto GARDEN STATE PKWY S via the exit on the LEFT (Portions toll).

• Take the RT-70 exit- EXIT 88- toward LAKEHURST / LAKEWOOD / BRICK TWP.

• Merge onto NJ-70 toward LAKEWOOD / MANCHESTER / LAKEHURST.

• Turn RIGHT onto AIRPORT RD.

From New York City, New Jersey, and points south:

Take the New York State Thruway to Exit 19 (Kingston), take Route 209 (changes to Route 199 at the Hudson River) over the Kingston/Rhinecliff Bridge to Route 9G. At the second light after the bridge, turn left onto Route 9G, and drive north 3.5 miles to flashing light. Turn left onto Annandale Road. At fork in road bear right and continue onto campus. Look for the Stevenson Gymnasium on your left.

FROM EAST OR WEST LONG ISLAND ON THE NORTH SHORE: Take the  Long Island Expressway (LIE – 495) East  to exit 69, Wading River Road. At the stop sign turn right onto Wading River Road and proceed South approximately 3 miles. You will cross over Sunrise Highway (27). Make a right turn at the next road, Brookfield Ave (do not count the Sunrise Service Road). Continue on Brookfield. At the traffic light, make a right turn onto Frowein Road. The school is on the right.

FROM EAST OR WEST LONG ISLAND ON THE SOUTH SHORE: Take the Southern State Parkway to Exit 40 – Robert Moses Causeway South. Take Exit RM1E onto Sunrise Highway East. Take Exit 59 Wading River Road/Center Moriches/South Manor onto Sunrise Highway South service road. Bear right onto Wading River Road and then make the next right, onto Brookfield Avenue (do not count the Sunrise Service Road). Continue on Brookfield. At the traffic light, make a right onto Frowein Road (CR-98), the School is on the right.

FROM EAST OR WEST LONG ISLAND ON THE NORTH SHORE: Northern State Parkway or Long Island Expressway to Shelter Rock Road exit. Take Shelter Rock Road South for approx. 2 miles. . In front of the school is a large field. Make left at light into school drive. Go up hill to parking and entrance into school.

FOR EAST OR WEST LONG ISLAND ON THE SOUTH SHORE: Take Southern State Parkway to exit 22 (Meadowbrook Parkway) North. Stay on Meadowbrook Parkway until the parkway splits to Northern State Parkway West. Stay in left two lanes and bear left when road splits again.  Stay on Northern State to Shelter Rock Road exit. Take Shelter Rock Road South for approx. 2 miles. In front of the school is a large field. Make left at light into school drive. Go up hill to parking and entrance into school.

FROM EAST OR WEST LONG ISLAND ON THE NORTH SHORE: Take the Long Island Expressway to Exit 41N (Rte. 106/107) or the Northern State Parkway to Exit 35N (Rte. 106/107). Proceed ahead to take the right fork when road splits. Make a left turn at 2^nd light, Brookville Road. Entrance to the school is approximately 1 ½ miles ahead on left. Gym is at the top of the hill.

FROM EAST OR WEST LONG ISLAND ON THE SOUTH SHORE: Take the Southern State Parkway to the Wantagh Parkway North. Take Wantagh Parkway North almost to the end and get off at Northern Parkway East. Follow directions above to school.

From New England:

• Take Interstate 95 (New England Thruway) to Interstate 295 to Throgsneck Bridge.
• After crossing the bridge, go South on Interstate 295 (Clearview Expressway to Exit 4/Long Island Expressway West).
• Take the Long Island Expressway to Exit 23 (Main Street)
• Stay on the Service Road to the traffic light and make a left at the light onto Main Street.
• Continue to Reeves Avenue (the second traffic light; the first light is the one immediately after making the left onto Main Street).
• Make left onto Reeves Avenue. John Bowne High School is on your right.
• Stay on Reeves Avenue to 153rd Street.
• Make right at the gate onto the Queens College campus. NOTE: If this gate is closed, proceed to the main gate (see Main Entrance).
• The gym is there on your right. The parking garage is up ahead; beyond the gym and on the left.            

***Depending on when you go to Queens College, you may have to use one entrance versus another. The entrance closest to the gym is the side entrance. The directions below are to the side entrance. Also provided are directions to the main entrance, starting from the side entrance, just in case the side entrance is closed.
